We had some memorable times together, from being out in thunder and lightning to hot summer nights being bit by bugs. We also caught some superb specimen fish, from the upper Avon to the lower, using all our skills that we have developed over the years.
Sadly this year Richard passed away from a sudden illness, at such a young age. He will be missed by myself and friends that knew him. So we are going to run a memorial trophy in his name for the best specimen fish of the year.
It will run from June 16th to March 15th each year. You can pick up an entry form and rules at the shop. The winner each year will have his or her name engraved on the plaque and receive a £100 voucher. Tight lines!
